1996 marked the beginning of a new era in Houston real estate - one that Sandra is very excited to be a part of. We celebrated the completion of the Metropolis Lofts, the first new residential building built in Houston since 1984. The quick sales of the Metropolis demonstrated Houstonians’ desire to move back toward the Downtown area.  From renovated historical buildings in and around Downtown Houston to new Art-Deco lofts or turn-of the century storefronts featuring exposed beams, 15 to 20 foot ceilings, skyline views, brick accented walls, concrete or plank floors, lofts are a unique home alternative.

Bayou Lofts - 915 Franklin This is true loft living in the heart of Downtown's Historic district! Bayou Lofts occupies the 1910 Southern Pacific Railroad building brilliantly restored and yet faithful to the original appeal of the structure. Inside its well-preserved lobby is a 24/7 concierge, and just to the left of that is the Franklin Street Coffee House. Just one block from the METRORail, one block from Market Square and a front-row seat to all that's going on in busy Downtown Houston. Capitol Lofts - 711 Main St   The Capitol Lofts located at 711 Main was constructed in the early 1900s as the M.E. Foster building and it served as office and retail space for many years. In the mid eighties the building was gutted and upgraded to include two new elevators cabs, a granite and glass curtain wall on the front elevation, and new windows throughout. In June of 1998, the building was purchased by 711 Main LLC, a development group who redesigned the building as residential lofts

Dakota Lofts - 711 William St. Dakota Lofts, built in 1911, is located in the heart of the warehouse district on the edge of Downtown Houston in the old Bute Paint Factory Building.

Franklin Lofts - 201 Main St The First National Bank building saw a lot of traffic in the early part of the 1900s, but here in the 21st century its seeing new life. The entire building has been refurbished, from the electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems to a makeover of each of the units which includes stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, hardwood floors and 11-18 ceilings. As thorough as the makeovers are, however, the buildings historic features have been kept intact. Features include controlled access parking for residents and guests as well as Concierge Service.

Hermann Lofts - 204 Travis Originally built in 1917, Hermann Lofts was one of the original Houston loft conversion projects.  Hermann Loft units first opened its doors to residents in 1997. Named after the great Houston philanthropist George Henry Hermann, the 32-unit downtown loft building was last used on a full-time basis as a headquarters for the Salvation Army. The 8-story, yellowish-brick building has a green cast-iron canopy covering the entire front sidewalk and numerous details dating back to the building's original form.

Hogg Palace Lofts- 401 Louisiana   Built in 1921 by William C. Hogg, developer of River Oaks and son of Jim Hogg, former Governor of Texas, the eight-story Art Deco office building has retained every inch of its distinction with its timely conversion to loft residences. Can also be used as an office.

Gotham Lofts - 1025 S. Shepherd Gotham Lofts features eight spacious floor plans, ranging from 1,800 to more than 2,900 square feet.  Most units provide residents with open expanses of loft-style living with soaring ceilings, exposed AC ducts, brick and glass brick interior trim, high end appliance packages, hardwood flooring and other luxury amenities.

Il Palazzo Lofts   Il Palazzo is a mid-rise loft building compromising six floors. The ground floor contains the entrance lobby and under cover, secure parking. Floors 2 through 5 share essentially the same layout, containing 13 units each. Most balconies on Floor 2 are larger than those on the upper three floors. Floor 6 contains six penthouses with large terraces. Close to Hermann Park, the Medical Center and the Museum District.

Keystone Lofts - 1120 Texas  The 10-story Keystone building was originally designed by architect Joseph Finger and built in the early 1920's as a multi-tenant office building. In 1975, the building was converted into a document storage facility. In 1998 the Keystone renovation was complete and the building was renamed to "Keystone Lofts". With only 34 units Keystone is one of the smaller buildings in Houston's downtown. The Keystone units range between 1,350 and 4,400 square feet, with amenities such as hardwood floors, 10-foot ceilings, tiled jacuzzi tubs and granite countertops.

Live Oak Lofts-1312 Live Oak Built into the old General Electric Building (ca. 1932) in the Warehouse District, this loft features volumes of open space to accommodate those who like open living or just those who want a lot of room.

Renoir Lofts - 1005 S.
