Southampton Spring Alley Rally
Sandra Gunn Properties and the Alley Rally Contest a HUGE
Success!

On April 25th, after a spring rain delay,
the residents of Southampton got out in
their Alleyways to clean and plant for the bi-annual Alley Rally
Competition sponsored by the Southampton Civic Club and Sandra Gunn
Properties. There were so many great entrances the sponsors decided to
give awards for four categories. The winners, judged by Marc Scioneaux of
Tellepsen Landscaping (landscape architects
& contractors specializing in the design, installation and maintenance of
residential gardens in the
Southampton/Rice/Museum areas) are as follows: Michael Dale, for Best New
Construction Alley Entry; Carolynne and Doug White, for Best Herb Garden;
and Anne and Joe Slopis for Best Vegetable Garden. A special award was
given to Sandra and Fred Hoffman for Best Overall Alley Entry. They were
presented with a gift basket from New Living Home. The Best Alley Block
award was given to the 2100 block of the Albans/Wroxton Alley. Sandra Gunn
Properties will present a check to Trees for
Southampton
in the amount of $250 in the name of the owners of the 2100 block.
